Georgia Vision Tour 2012
June 05 - 9

A progressive mission trip including Georgia missionary connections and
hands-on projects in Helen, Clarkston, Atlanta, Brunswick, and Savannah
.

June 5-9, 2012 - Choose the days you want to participate...one day, all five days or any number in between!
$10 per person per day, includes light meal or snacks on site and drinks.  Transportation and lodging on your own.
No refunds for cancellations for the Georgia Vision Tour, but substitutions are accepted.
Adults, students, and children are invited to participate!  (Children must have completed third grade.)

JUNE 5
GEORGIA MOUNTAIN RESORT MINISTRIES, Helen
2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 
Georgia Mountain Resort Ministries (GMRM) is responsible for resort missions work by Baptists in the North Georgia Mountains. GMRM’s desire is to assist the resort industry of North Georgia in offering Christian-based services to the guests who visit the area as well as to the employees of the tourist industry.  Serve alongside Georgia missionaries, Keith and Amy Ivey.

Ministries will include:
  • Interacting with people in Helen through balloon art, salvation bracelets and participating in prayerwalking
  • Providing recreation and cookout for families at a local mobile home park
JUNE 6
REACH THE NATIONS COMMUNITY CHURCH, Clarkston
12noon – 4:00 p.m. 
Clarkston is the first stop for thousands of refugees from all over the world as they enter the United States.  Reach the Nations Community Church is a church plant of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association.

Ministries will include:
  • Partnering with women from local churches, we will be visiting homes and families in small groups to build friendships and share the hope of Christ
JUNE 7
URBAN ATLANTA CHURCH PLANTING, Atlanta
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Urban Atlanta Church Planting seeks to provide strategy, partners, support and encouragement for church planting in Atlanta.  UACP’s mission is to intentionally plant healthy, reproducing congregations inside the perimeter (ITP) of Atlanta.

Ministries will include:
  • Prayerwalking potential church plant sites
  • Community outreach project
JUNE 8
GOLDEN ISLES MINISTRIES, Brunswick
1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
GIM seeks to glorify God by meeting needs through selfless service.  GIM and Georgia missionary, Peter Copeland, serves Brunswick and the surrounding areas of Jekyll and St. Simons Islands through many community ministries.

Ministries will include:
  • Cleaning and light work at the ministry center
  • Face painting and balloon art in tourist areas
  • Providing an evening day camp in a local housing complex
JUNE 9
SAVANNAH BAPTIST CENTER, Savannah
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Savannah Baptist Center is faithfully devoted to provide spiritual, emotional, and physical support by sharing the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. Their many ministries include after-school programs, food pantry, job training, ladies ministries and much more.

Ministries will include:
  • Providing meals to homeless in the Savannah area
